Oxford Classic Jazz bands have played for many swing dances, where people joyfully dance the Lindy Hop, Jitterbug and Charleston. The dancers often comment that we get the tempos just right and that the rhythmic intensity of just four professional jazz musicians can provide a hotter, livelier and more spontaneous dance experience than an orchestrated amateur big band or sound system.
